Der var ikke meget hjælp at finde i fuglebogen ("Fugle i felten"), så dejligt med nogle erfarne ringmærkere i Sverige og Danmark som kunne hjælpe.
Internettet viste heller ikke nogle nogle individer med en så markant bånding af underhaledækfjerene.
Desuden; bemærk den grå strube og et 'skygget' gråbrunt hals/brystbånd.
Har nu ca 14 dage senere set mange flere unge bysvaler og synes ikke de passer med dette foto - de bør have lys-hvide undervinge dækfjer og ingen har haft en båndet- eller de let skællet underhale dækfjer.
Men en asiatisk bysvale har tilsyneladende en kortere hale, men de har tilgengæld gråbrune undervinge dækfjer som denne synes at have. Hale kløftens dybde synes at passe bedst på asiatisk eller en mellemting.
