De to individer, der blev set dags dato, havde begge en forkærlighed for at sætte sig på mejsekassen på brændeskuret. Arten ligner en anden sjældenhed, Kirsebærtakvinge, men her ses et godt kendetegn: De lyse forben - jfr. det engelske navn!
Undersiden af vingerne er ren camouflage.
