Goldcrests were everywhere!

Never has Gedser experienced such a long period with a true avalanche of the smallest species of bird in Europe. For ten days (a still a small trickle of birds passes through every day) the came in tens of thousands. Two days were exceptional with possible 50-100,000 birds passing by Gedser!
